Easter!
Well, it's been a while! It was easier to update when she couldn't crawl, pull up on my leg and start beating my legs when I'm at the computer :) This girl LOVES the keyboard...it all started back with Ty's laptop in her first week.
Anyway, it was North Dakota cold here for Easter, but she was going to wear her Easter outfit, even if we had to bundle her up and take a sled dog team to church, da*mi!t. Thankfully, it didn't get that bad, and we only suffered for a little bit. J likes to talk during the prayers, by the way. Whatever she's asking for, I think God is going to hear it!
She's getting REALLY close to walking, and will walk with us holding on to only one hand, but can't quite get the courage to let go and try it. I think she sees the dog and says "well, that works for her!"
Speaking of Madeline, she is still trying to come to a truce with Jordis, but mostly makes haste when she appears. Thankfully, Jordis is growing out of the "let's hit doggie in the eye as hard as I can" phase.
She gives kisses now too, just ask. This worried Ty a little bit. She also will take off her socks on demand, and put her stuffed bunny back into the bed when asked. Actually, she does most everything you ask her to do, except stop dropping food onto the floor. And we actually "communicate" at feeding time. When she wants something, she grunts and taps it - if its' the cup, or cracker box or whatever. You can see how frustrating it is for her not to be able to form the words. So, for now, she's a caveman, but we still love her.
Ta ta for now! "White before Memorial Day? Ugh, Mom is losing it!" (note that daddy is NOT wearing white!!)

"See? She's wearing BLACK! Next year I'm picking out my Easter outfit and it better be designer!"
"Dad attempts a shampoo horn while mom snaps the camera phone. Apparently there's no peace for a baby at bath time. Paparazzi follow me in here too! At least my frog is strategically placed!" - JJ
